Job Description & Responsibilities
This person will assist the Manufacturing Operations Department in the areas of aseptic manufacturing processes, environmental monitoring, and general laboratory tasks. The individual would spend approximately 50% of their time in the laboratory and 50% of their time in the operations environment. They would follow strict direction of process testing, process execution, and data gathering. Basic laboratory tasks would include media preparation, sterility testing, and bioburden enumeration. This individual will make immediate impact in the areas of:
• Process Development & Execution
• System Validation
• Equipment Qualification
• Controlled Environment Monitoring
• Microbiology Laboratory Method Development & Execution
Qualifications
The ideal candidate would be currently enrolled in an accredited engineering program, pursuing a bachelors or masters degree. Candidate must have a high technical aptitude that can operate under limited supervision. Candidate must have a strong desire to learn proper laboratory techniques. In addition, candidate meets the following minimum criteria:
• Majors: Biomedical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial & Manufacturing Engineering
• Minimum of 3 semesters of completed course work
• 3.2 GPA, minimum

Candidate qualifications:
